Gendt dredging 4  1/24

About ten years ago, I saw this little boat breaking the ice on the Roeselare-Ooigem canal during a winter spell. Afterward, I had the opportunity to take many photos of this boat and discovered that it was actually a plow boat belonging to Ghent Dredging. In some cases, a plow boat is sufficient to move sludge to deeper parts of the waterway (agitation dredging).

Since then, the boat has been towed on a canal and scrapped. The wheelhouse is now used on another ship.

The model is 1/24 scale and fully functional.
