"Lodestar" (specifically Lodestar III, serial number 4093) was a British Mark IV Male heavy tank of the 12th Battalion, Tank Corps, which saw active combat service in France during the final months of World War I in 1918.

Unit: 12th Battalion, Tank Corps (British Army). [1]

Action: Participated in offensive operations on the Western Front, including the Battle of Albert on August 21, 1918, and subsequent actions along the Hindenburg Line/Cambrai sector. [1, 2]

Current Status: Unlike most WWI armor scrapped or destroyed, Lodestar III survived and was gifted by the British government to Belgium. It is preserved in its original paint and markings at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History (Jubelpark/Cinquantenaire) in Brussels.
