The BMW R 75 is a German motorcycle from the Second World War. The drive was provided by a single 2-cylinder boxer engine with a capacity of 26 hp, which allowed the vehicle to accelerate to 80-90 km/h. The first copies of this motorcycle were presented in 1939, and series production continued in 1941-1946. About 16,900 copies of this vehicle were built over time.

The BMW R 75 was designed from the beginning as the new entry-level multi-purpose motorcycle for the German armed forces. The design was based on other BMW motorcycles: the models R 12 and R 71. First of all - in relation to the R 12 - a more powerful engine was used, and the entire structure was significantly strengthened and the off-road capabilities were increased, including in desert and winter conditions. During production, the design of the BMW R75 was constantly improved - first of all, the gearbox and front suspension were improved. It is worth mentioning that many components of the BMW R75 were united with the Zundapp KS 750 during mass production. The BMW R 75 motorcycle saw service on virtually all fronts of World War II, including North Africa and the Eastern Front. It is recognized as one of the most famous and successful German military motorcycles of 1939–1945.
